Our story

Bible Bearers began with a simple conviction: anyone who needs a Bible should be able to get a Bible. What started as a desire to make Scripture more accessible has grown into a ministry focused on placing quality Bibles in Free Little Libraries and other accessible community locations. Through the generosity of donors and Bible givers, we hope to put God's Word within reach of anyone who may need it—and ultimately, to see those who receive a Bible open it and read the Scriptures.

At Bible Bearers, Christ is at the center of everything we do. We believe God’s Word is meant to be received, lived, and carried into the world. With generosity, integrity, and bold faith, we seek to put Scripture into the hands of others and equip believers to carry the hope of Jesus.

Our history

Bible Bearers began with a simple walk through my community.

In early 2026, I was walking through the town where I live when I came across a Free Little Library. I opened the door and found only three books inside. In that moment, I felt the Lord put something on my heart: these are great places to distribute Bibles. You will fill this library, and many others, with Bibles.

I didn't know exactly what that would look like, but I knew I needed to take the first step.

I began setting money aside to purchase gently used, quality Bibles and started placing them in Free Little Libraries throughout my community. Before long, I began seeing people take them.

That simple experience confirmed what had been placed on my heart. These weren't just books sitting on a shelf. They were Bibles being taken by people who may have needed one, wanted one, or simply encountered God's Word when they weren't expecting to.

From that beginning, Bible Bearers was born..

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: anyone who needs a Bible should be able to get a Bible.

Bible Bearers exists to make the Word of God freely accessible to people in their everyday communities. We provide quality Bibles and place them in Free Little Libraries and other accessible locations, giving anyone the opportunity to take a Bible, read the Scriptures, and discover God's Word for themselves.

We believe a Bible should not be difficult to find or something that only those with the means to purchase one can access. Through the generosity of those who give Bibles, donate financially, and support our ministry, we seek to put Scripture within reach—helping God's Word find its way into the hands of those who need it.

Our ultimate hope is not simply to distribute Bibles, but to see them opened, read, and used by the people who receive them.
