Why is there a $10 minimum donation?
Your $10 donation provides a quality Bible and covers the logistics needed to deliver it to a Little Free Library.
How are donations used?
Your donations help us purchase Bibles and other Christ-centered resources and place them into Little Free Libraries throughout our communities. Donations also help cover the practical costs of carrying out the mission, including transportation, supplies, and other ministry expenses. Every gift helps us put God’s Word into the hands of someone who may need it.
Where do you deliver Bibles?
We currently cover Free Little Libraries in the Skagit Valley and Whidbey Island.
It's our hope and prayer to expand our ministry across the United States!
Can I donate Bibles instead of money?
Yes! We welcome donations of quality Bibles. Donated Bibles can be sent to us and will be distributed through participating Little Free Libraries. If you’d like to donate Bibles, please contact us for drop-off or shipping information.
What Bible translations do you deliver?
Our mission is simple: anyone who needs a Bible should have access to one.
More than that, our hope and prayer is that every person who receives one will open its pages, encounter the Gospel, and ultimately come to know and have a relationship with Jesus.
We’ve found that dynamic-equivalence translations can be especially accessible and welcoming for someone who is reading the Bible for the first time or is new to the Christian faith. That said, we value and respect all major Bible translations that faithfully communicate the truth of God’s Word.
Our goal isn’t to promote one particular translation—it’s to put a Bible in someone’s hands and give them the opportunity to discover God through His Word.
What kinds of bibles do you deliver?
We want every person who receives one of our Bibles to do more than simply own it—we want them to open it, read it, and encounter the truth of Scripture. That’s why we prioritize providing high-quality Bibles that are durable and inviting to read, typically in leather or hardcover formats.
At the same time, we believe there is value in a variety of Bible formats and study resources. We gladly distribute study Bibles, Life Application Bibles, devotional Bibles, reference Bibles, standard Bibles, and other formats. Our goal is simply to place a quality Bible in someone’s hands in a format that can best serve them.
Can I become a member of Bible Bearers?
Absolutely! We’re building a community of people who want to help make God’s Word more accessible. If you have bibles on hand or purchase them, we encourage you to find a local Free Little Library to drop them in. Feel free to share with us or tag us on social media!
How did Bible Bearers start and why are you doing this?
Bible Bearers was started with a simple call and conviction: God’s Word should be within reach of anyone who needs it. There are people in our communities who may never walk into a church or go buy a Bible, but they might pick one up if its easily accessible. By placing Bibles and Christ-centered resources throughout our communities, my hope is to create opportunities for people to encounter the truth, hope, and good news of Jesus Christ—one Bible at a time.
